This time last week, we were gearing up for our promotional work at the Port Union Waterfront Festival. The weather was gorgeous and we were surrounded by others doing good work in our community. Thank you to the festival director, Paul Maguire, and the many volunteers and organizations who helped make this event a success.

Port Union Cares came out in full force, in our powerful and beautifully designed t-shirts, and we engaged with many people who were curious about our work and who came out to wish us well. We had stations for children, where they could blow bubbles, colour pictures, and enjoy freezies and lollipops. We ended the day with a give-away of two Port Union Cares t-shirts by drawing from those who submitted a ‘How You Can Help’ form.
